• A6a/E05 direction: Nantes - Bordeaux - Orly - Rungis - Evry - Lyon,
• Exit No. 12 "Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry",
• Avenue de Fontainebleau (D607), via Moulignon,
• Continue straight on along the N7,
• Go into Pringy, remain on the avenue de Fontainebleau (D607)
• After 800 metres, turn left into Rue de Melun (D142) and head out of Pringy - Continue on the road to Vosves (D142) via Vosves,
• After 3 km, turn left onto Avenue Francis Pressenssé (D376)
• Go into Dammarie-lès-Lys and continue on Avenue des Frères Marceau,
• After 1.3 km turn left onto Avenue Charles Prieur (D372)
• The Departmental Archives car park is 200 on the left

From Fontainebleau by car

• Take boulevard Winston Churchill (D210) for 1.3 km,
• Continue on National Highway D607 for 7 km,
• Continue on the road out of Paris following the signs to: Chailly-en-Bière - Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry - Barbizon, via Chailly-en-Bière,
• Turn right onto National Highway D372 for 2 km
• Turn left onto avenue Paul Vaillant-Couturier,
• Go into Dammarie-lès-Lys and take avenue Charles Prieur,
• The Departmental Archives car park is 200 on the left
